Integration

The building's "coat" was remodelled and "ironed". Those parts that had little value (roof, windows, sills, sunshades) were replaced and modernised. A large wall painting by well known artist Jakob Weder brought the building entrance to life: he had had his studio in rooms belonging to the owner of the building at the time and had paid some of the rent with this mural. Samuel Gerber has now named the building after him, incorporating more paintings and memorabilia in honour of the artist. The apartments have been completely renovated – with modern infrastructure features, natural stone and noble woods. All rooms are equipped for all media, so that even the smallest tenants can log on to the rest of the world. Tenants choose their own colours for the rooms, thereby becoming part of the entrance mural, which Jakob Weder named "Integration".
